Specialist Media Operations - Pre-Press, Print & Digital Services (f/m/d), CDD Ref.

The positions should be filled as soon as possible for a duration of 6 months (CDD).

Main responsibilities: Utilizes graphic software to create and modify artwork and/ or reproduction product.

Print file preparation according to different printing specification such as Flexo-, Litho- and Rotogra-vure for primary and/ or secondary packaging.

Consults with Graphic Design team on artwork, vision and layout.

Interaction with customer service to edit and revise prepress as needed and produce a quality product.

Ensures consistency of design with production, brand and quality standards.

Proofreads/inspects the accuracy of completed work.

Tracks and reports on all graphic work being completed.

Performing daily tasks in the liaison with the customer ser-vice Prioritizes work orders, expediting orders that must be filled immediately.

Other duties may be assigned.

Required profile Completed apprenticeship as Media Operator (Print) or college degree (e.g.

Bachelor of Arts) in print media.

Around 2 years professional experience, ideally in the pre-press sector for packaging.

Good understanding of packaging (primary & secondary) prepress, print production, techniques and processes.

Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator Software.

Experience with other graphic prepress software such as Artpro, Desk Pack or Packz is considered as an advantage.

Mac experience preferred Good knowledge of MS-Office (in particular Outlook), SAP is considered as an advantage Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environ-ment.

Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
