Description
- Ensure efficient material support for Cargolux fleet for both scheduled and unscheduled events.
- Supervise planning of spare parts requirements during Heavy Maintenance activity.
- Monitor and optimize stock levels to ensure optimum balance between availability and finance.
- Coordinate processes through various department to ensure smooth flow of material and information.
- Control and supervise the parts cycle count and the year end inventory.
- Participate in the parts provisioning.
- Guide and supervise the team for Material Planning and the Inventory Control aspects.
- Ensure a regular follow-up on departmental tasks.
- Prepare the departmental work schedule.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION
- Engineering profile or Master Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain or in any other related.
- Aviation experience is considered as an advantage.
- At least 5 years of working experience in a similar position.
- Good analytical skill and pro-active.
- Team spirit and good communication skill.
- Know how to handle complex situation and set up inter-departmental processes.
- Experience in managing a small team is a plus.
- Fluency in English, written & spoken, any other language will be considered as an advantage.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook).
