Within IT Flat Europe organisation, the Digital & IT Finance and Procurement perimeter is responsible for the IT Strategy of the Finance and Procurement functions, including efficiency (process and system exploitation and optimisation).
The internal client of the IT Lead Source to contract applications is Arcelor Mittal European Purchasing Organization, which is the entity in Arcelor Mittal Flat Europe responsible for procurement activities for the internal customers.
As a global player and buyer of goods and services, European Procurement Organization leverages technical excellence to develop best TCO solutions to secure the Arcelor Mittal's supply chain, while providing efficient and reliable services to internal customers commonly called "Users".
Responsibilities:
- IT Responsible for Source to Contract applications (Ivalua S2 C, Vendor Management, Portal, and Buyer Launchpad), ensuring that they align with the European Purchasing Organization's requirements and goals.
- Oversee the integration of Source to Contract systems with other enterprise applications, such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, Adobesign and supplier on-boarding due-diligence applications like D& B and Dow jones.
- Ensure the day-to-day operation and stability of the Source to Contract applications.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with IT support teams to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Lead the design and implementation of enhancements to the Source 2 Contract and vendor management applications to meet evolving business requirements.
- Coordinate with external developers and vendors for system customization and upgrade.
- Lead, develop and motivate the internal IT and external IT teams for the flawless execution of all the business initiatives in the P2 P applications.
- Act as point of contact for the business to manage the escalations, business process improvement initiates follow-ups and KPI reporting.
- Continuously assess and optimize the Source 2 Contract to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance user experience.
- Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to streamline Source to contract and vendor management workflows.
- Work with offshore partner to ensure business as usual (BAU) and Evolutive development activities are delivered according to business priorities and within the agreed SLAs.
- Keep focusing on software updates, patches, and new features, and then propose appropriate upgrades to the system.
- Ensure all the project deliverables and RUN activities are compliant with Arcelor Mittal SOX procedures.
Required Knowledge:
- Education: Master’s degree in computer science /IT
- Has the ability to lead and collaborate in a complex and federated organizational structure, within a multilingual and transversal environment.
- Should have a prior experience in managing offshore – onsite support engagements.
- Team player, stakeholder-oriented, ability to understand and adapt to a complex and changing environment, ability to work with people at all levels of the organization.
- Proactive, creative, autonomous, problem-solving oriented, ability to work in a virtual team.
- Should have at least 8 years of experience in Sourcing to Contract domain tools like SAP / Ivalua / Ariba
- Should have at least 5 years of project management experience.
- Business knowledge on Source to Procurement processes.
- Experience on designing the Ivalua and SAP interface for Supplier on-boarding and risk management, e-Sourcing, contract management and e-Catalogs management activities is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of SAP MM / PM processes
- Proven track record of managing complex projects on time and within budget.
- Ability and experience in managing small teams in the run or project mode.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
- Good ability to communicate at various levels.
- Language proficiency: English Level advanced. Proficiency in other European languages is an added advantage.
