Who we are
CHAMP Cargosystems is building systems that power the business of cargo airlines all over the world providing solutions for the whole cargo management chain including reservation and booking management, revenue, handling & customs declaration and balancing the weight of the cargo inside the plane.
What we do
We are currently in the process of building the next generation of cargo management applications using modern and widely use technologies and we are looking for motivated people to join our team of interdisciplinary developers.

Perform several roles such as coder of scripts (mostly Ansible) to deploy in an automatic manner our software and supporting tools.Organize the deployment process of our software in a way to be transparent, secure, reliable and bug free.Collaborate with development team, business analysts and architects in order to gather requirements for the Dev Ops strategy and CI/CD.Translate design and functional specifications into automated scripts; enforce the Company’s software methodology and standards are correctly implemented.Champion good code quality practices towards reliable, performant and maintainable solutionsParticipate in the technical discussions on project updates/ in resolving technical issues.Produce clean and efficient code based on specifications.Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing scripts suite.Work closely with Technology Service team in order to shape the virtual machines & hardware for the need of our projects.Participate in building a test suite for automation scripts.Assist and elaborate the project documentation for automation scripts.As a manager, you will be in charge of managing a team of Dev Ops engineers, to define the strategy of the team in how to approach long terms goals, define the priorities for engineers and run performance evaluation of peopleCoaching and mentoring of the team is also expected from a manager role What we require from you
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or EquivalentMust have 5 years’ experience in Java & object-oriented programmingHands on experience of minimum 5 years with automatic scripting tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef)Understanding in the following framework or technology is a plus: Spring Boot, REST API, Angular Experienced in using the following tools – Git, SVN, Maven or similarProven experience working with cloud platforms, VM management in the cloud (preferable AWS)Understanding of CI/CD and knowledge of Gitlab & Bamboo toolsKnowledge with Kafka, NGINX, load-balancer or ELK would be considered as a plusHands on experience in use and administration of Linux OSPrior experience in managing teams of people is a great plusBe a proactive person and oriented to listen the problems team might have and offer guidance and help when the team needsBe in front of the team and decide with the upper management strategies and tactics how to achieve best results for Champ products and platformsKnow how to install and configure a Linux applicationExperience in SCRUM practices is a plusExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal skillsGood command of English language is a must What you can expect from us
